The ‘Impeachathon’ Is Underway—But Are J6 Judges Included?
Congress must impeach the judges-cum-political activists who twisted the law to target J6 defendants
On Thursday, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) announced he had introduced articles of impeachment against US District Judge Amir Ali, a Biden appointee who blocked President Trump’s moratorium on foreign aid. The impeachment resolution accuses Judge Ali of committing high crimes and misdemeanors by blocking the president from exercising his constitutional power to conduct foreign policy.
This was only the latest impeachment effort in what Rep. Ogles is calling an “impeachathon.” He also filed articles of impeachment four days earlier against US District Judge John Bates, a Bush appointee who ordered federal agencies to restore webpages supporting medical mutilation for minors after they were removed by Trump’s executive order.
On February 19th, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) filed articles of impeachment against US District Judge Paul Engelmayer for high crimes and misdemeanors. Engelmayer, an Obama appointee, had blocked the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing the Treasury payments …
